Who shouldn’t use Tadalafil tablets?

This medicine is not suitable for patients who:

• Are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredients listed in the product information leaflet
• Take any form of organic nitrate or nitric oxcide donors, such as amyl nitrate or isosorbide mononitrate which is commonly used for angina.
• Use Nicorandil, for angina
• Have serious heart disease or recently had a heart attack within the last 90 days.
• Have recently had a stroke within the last 6 months.
• Have low blood pressure, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
• Have a rare inherited eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa
• have suffered loss of vision because of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION).
• Have suffered priapism (prolonged painful erection) or suffer from anatomical deformations of the penis, for example, Peyronie?s disease and Cavernosal Fibrosis.

What side effects could I expect?

Most patients who use Tadalafil 5mg tablets will not experience any side effects, but some of the very common (more than 1 in 10) and common (less than 1 in 100) include:

• Headache
• Flushing
• Nasal Congestion
• Indigestion
• Aches and Pains
